Islay Whisky Festival and it’s “reach for the suntan lotion” time. We always take a nice group of friends, but this year, there were 18 of us, all sharing two cottages at Bowmore Distillery. First Whisky Tour of 2010
After setting off from Glasgow we had a great first distillery tour at the former cotton mill, Deanston, which took us down into the cathedral vaults of their warehouses, once winding rooms and vast loom halls, now cold and filled with old bourbon casks. Continue reading
