Airport Location

Inverness Airport is the business and leisure airport for the Highlands and Islands and has links with London and regional services within the Highlands and Islands as well as to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The airport is open between 0645 and 2200 Monday to Saturday (to 1915 on Saturdays during wiinter) and between 0645 and 2200 on Sundays (from 0815 during winter).

By Car

Inverness Airport is located nine miles east of Inverness centre. The main road access to the airport via the Inverness-to-Nairn A96. The access road is off the B9039 and is clearly signposted from the main road.

Taxis

Taxis are available at the airport and in the town.

By Rail

The airport does not have direct rail access. The nearest train station is in Inverness town centre, and trains run to Inverness from the rest of the UK. There is also a station at Nairn, and trains run from there to Inverness every 2 hours with a journey time of around 15 minutes./p>

By Bus

A bus runs every 90 minutes from the centre of Inverness, from outside the Post Office in Queensgate, to the airport.

Parking

Long-term and short-term parking is available in the car park directly in front of the terminal building.

Facilities

Inverness is a small airport but is equipped with shops, ATM, bar and restaurant facilities.
