Kilmeny Country Guest House, Islay |

|
This excellent five star Guest House was winner of the 2000 Scottish Tourist Board's Thistle Award for the Best Guest House in Scotland and it's easy to understand why. Situated on a 300 acre working farm, the 19th century farm buildings have undergone a conversion of adjoining stables to create an elegant home-from-home. The bedrooms and public rooms are luxurious, with a fine quality of furniture, decor, fabrics and superb colour co-ordination. Rooms have full en-suite facilities and nice little touches to make visitors feel at home. |

The house is situated in an elevated position with great views across the Islay landscape and is less than two miles from Finlaggan, home to the Lords of the Isles for over 400 years. Accommodation at this guest house is offered on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast basis, although bed and breakfast terms can be arranged, but one look at the sample menu will show why we recommend guests take advantage of dinner! From £58 for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast |
